Marston’s corporate experience in Indonesia began in the early 1990s, and since that time Marston has issued 200 reports on a wide range of coal-related projects, involving coal deposits and mines throughout Kalimantan and Sumatra.  With respect to recent assignments, since 2005, Marston has completed more than 60 projects in Indonesia.
 

Experience.

Marston’s experience spans the spectrum of coal-related activities, including:

  • Geological exploration and resource estimating in addition to mine planning and reserve evaluation, all to JORC standards. 
  • Mine designs and independent third-party reviews including conceptual, pre-feasibility and bankable feasibility studies.  
  • Due diligence investigations for acquisitions and long-term coal supply.
  • Review of geological resources/reserves, mining operations, infrastructure and barging.
  • Fuel supply planning for several coal-fired power plants.
